What are soft sided hard cases?
Lakewood is the only manufacturer of soft sided hard cases. A soft sided hard case is a hard durable ABS case wrapped in a soft outer shell, combining all the advantages of a soft case with the strength and protection of a hardcase, without any of the disadvantages. Our cases are TSA compliant.
What are Lakewood Cases made of?
To give you hard case protection, the inside of the case is made from a highly durable ABS plastic. The soft outside of a Lakewood Case is made with a foam lined denier nylon. For added durability, the bottom of most of our cases uses a ballistic nylon material but on some of our fishing cases you will see mesh bottom to allow drainage and airflow. In our gun and bow cases a high density polyurethane foam lines the ABS plastic to protect your bow and other gear.
What Lakewood bow case will fit my bow?
To determine what case will fit your bow, measure your bow from the end of one cam to the end of the other cam. This will give you the overall bow length. Depending on the size of the cams, the overall length is normally 4” to 6” longer than the axle to axle length. The 41” bow case will fit bows with an overall length up to 40 ¾”. The 45” bow case will fit bows with an overall length between 41” and 44 ¾”. Please refer to the specific product description and diagram for more detailed information.
Can I customize my case?
The outer denier nylon material of Lakewood Cases can be custom embroidered with your name or even a club/company’s logo. We currently offer name personalization on all gun and bow cases, and some of our fishing cases. We do have minimum order quantities. Custom orders must be handled via phone so contact us for more specifics.
Where are Lakewood Products Cases made?
Lakewood cases are proudly made in Suamico, WI. From beginning to end, a Lakewood is 100% assembled and made in the USA, in our factory, by our employees.
Are your cases waterproof?
Lakewood cases are water resistant. The seams and zippers on our cases are not glued and welded shut. However, the materials are sewn tight enough that many of our cases will float (if they don't have the open mesh bottom/top). We have even had customers clean their cases with a hose, pressure washer, or by running them through the car wash, withoutwater entering their case.
Can you lock a Lakewood Case?
Lakewood Cases feature lockable zippers for travel. When the two zippers are pulled together, they create a ring that a luggage or TSA compliant lock can be attached too.

Prop 65 Warning
California Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office
of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August
30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.
